For all new parents kids haircuts, believe it or not, is the great unknown. I find this time and time again with my new customers. I do say this in a fond way, it's not their fault. Indeed, there is very little information on the topic, which is why on this website I try to educate people as much as possible. Having worked in this industry for over 14 years, I have to say that there is definitely a whole psychology behind this experience.

The important thing to remember is that if the hairdresser/barber, and parent both work at it, the haircutting experience for the child can be an absolutely positive experience. I have many tips on this website, but the most important thing to remember is that distractions work wonders. Indeed, food, t.v,candy to name just a few items, are assets during this process. Also, being laid back, kind, and gentle also go a long way.
